Care Instructions

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your upholstered furniture, regular care is essential. Vacuum your furniture weekly to remove surface dirt and prevent it from embedding into the fabric fibers. You may also use a soft-bristled brush to gently whisk away dirt—avoid stiff brushes that may damage the fabric.

Address spills promptly. Blot—don’t rub—with a clean, folded towel to prevent stains from setting. Prompt attention keeps spills from being absorbed into the upholstery. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade or fray fabric, so position your furniture away from windows or use curtains to minimize sun damage. Additionally, airborne pollutants such as smoke or cooking fumes can harm the fabric and should be minimized.

When deeper cleaning is needed, choose a fabric-safe cleaner that also deodorizes and contains no harsh chemicals. Always vacuum or brush the furniture first to lift loose dirt before applying any cleaner. Apply the cleaner with a soft brush and let it sit for one to two minutes. Then, use a damp cloth or sponge to gently remove the residue. Avoid scrubbing the fabric harshly, and ensure it dries thoroughly. To speed up drying, use a fan or open a window.

To protect against everyday wear, especially in homes with pets or children, consider using a furniture cover. Rotate or flip cushions regularly to promote even wear and help you detect stains early. For spot cleaning, always start with the mildest solution possible.
